Pinot Meunier 2008

This light to medium wine is matured in French oak with delicate flavours reminiscent of black cherry, pepper and nutmeg. The fruit tannins create exciting movement and length of palate. Pinot Meunier is grown in the Champagne regions of France for the making of champagne. This wine can be served chilled on a hot summer's day. A truly unique taste sensation. Drink now or cellar to 2015.

Pinot Noir 2005

Hand-crafted vines have resulted in a well balanced wine with aromas of dark cherry and fig. A suggestion of cinnamon and nutmeg spices combined with French oak fermentation makes this a wine of quality and style. Drink now or cellar to 2012.

Merlot 2008

A well made wine rich with the aromas of blueberries and fresh forest gums. The palate is reminiscent of dark chocolate and hint of licorice and you can enjoy the soft velvety mouth feel at the finish.

Mary Friend 2005 Caberbets-Merlot Blend

Maturing in a combination French and Russian oak barriques for 22 months, this wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. It is of medium weight and elegant, and will reward cellaring up to ten years. There are aromas of ripe blackberries and very subtle eucalyptus. Drink now or cellar to 2014.


“Mary Friend?2004 Bordeaux Blend ?GOLD MEDAL AND BEST RED BLEND (Federation Sq Annual Victorian Wine Awards 2008) Maturing in French oak barriques for 22 months, this wine is a bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Aromas of blackcurrant and a touch of cigar box, the mid palate is fleshy and the finish lingers with warm dried fruit characteristics. Fantastic with red meat or winter caseroles. Drink now or cellar to 2012. (Mary Friend was Malcolm’s late grandmother).
